What is Laser Hair Removal?
Laser hair removal is one of our most highly sought-after treatments! We use medical grade equipment in our clinic with the goal of providing affordable, effective treatments for both men and women. Our advanced laser system works to target the hair follicles that are responsible for excessive growth. The follicle absorbs the energy as heat – destroying it. The result is permanently less hair growth in just a few simple and quick treatments.

- Removing hair from a small treatment area, such as the upper lip, only takes a few minutes. Larger treatment areas such as the back can be treated in 20 to 30 minutes.

Treatment
Before your first treatment you will need a short 15 minute consultation with one of our certified laser technicians. This consultation is needed to assess your skin type, assess your suitability for treatment and to discuss how to prep your skin for the best possible result. If you require a treatment on the day of your consultation this can be arranged too.
During treatment, the skin is first cleaned of any lotions or beauty products. A numbing gel can also be applied to the skin in order to ensure optimal patient comfort. The laser hair removal device is then held to the targeted treatment area. The laser beam passes through the skin to an individual hair follicle. The intense heat of the laser damages the hair follicle, which inhibits future hair growth. There is minimal discomfort associated with the process, and is often compared to a light snapping sensation on the surface of the skin.
The result is permanently less hair growth. The time it takes to complete treatments depends on the patient and size of the area being treated. Because laser hair removal is non-invasive, there is no required downtime afterwards. However, you should protect the treated area from the sun by applying sunscreen and avoiding exposure. Multiple treatments are suggested in order to achieve optimal results.

We are looking for certified Medical Aestheticians who have at least 2 years of experience in Canada.
Experience in sales and customer service is also an asset.
