Teeth Whitening is the process of lifting and removing surface stain (extrinsic stain) sitting on top of the enamel (main, hardened surface of the tooth) or restoration.
What is Teeth Whitening?
Over the course of time, teeth can discolour for various reasons. They can become darker as we get older. Teeth can be stained on the surface by food and drinks such as tea, coffee, red wine and black currant. Smoking, some medications and trauma can also cause teeth discolouration. Our dental hygienists can only remove stains from your teeth, which is why you need advice from a dentist. Whitening treatments can help to restore the natural whiteness of your teeth, giving you a smile to be proud of.

What is Cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy is a non-invasive procedure that harnesses the power of extreme cold to destroy unwanted or irregular skin tissue. It is a process known as cryo-necrosis, which refers to tissue destruction through rapid freezing. We utilize Cryotherapy Technology to complete our treatments. This advanced pen produces a thermodynamic process that uses a cryogenic Nitrous Oxide (N2O) gas which is compressed at 725 PSI (very high pressure). When nitrous oxide is released as a jet of gas, it expands at -89°C and immediately freezes the affected lesion. This is effective at destroying the lesion for a clear and even complexion.

What to Expect

It usually takes no more than a few minutes to complete the treatment, and because it is non-invasive, there is no required downtime afterwards. Following Cryotherapy, it usually takes about 2-4 weeks for the targeted lesion to fall off. However, some lesions are more persistent and take longer to disappear. Most lesions require only one treatment, but larger lesions may require 1-2 treatments in order to achieve optimal results. With this revolutionary treatment, you can reclaim clear and healthy skin.
