Since that time, the company has grown into a full-service medical aesthetic clinic offering injectables, laser hair removal, and skin rejuvenation. I sold my first clinic to a franchisee and have since opened subsequent franchised and corporate locations in Port Moody, Vancouver, Mission , Burnaby South and Penticton BC as well as a corporate office in Maple Ridge. I have created a winning sales cycle with Refresh Evolution as a B2C business.
My love of business extends to working with other businesswomen to help empower and mentor them. I believe “A rising tide lifts all boats” and love doing my part to encourage and facilitate success among women in business.
My most recent accomplishment has been being featured as a contributing author in the #1 Best Selling Series Woman of Worth .. Women in Business in a changing world – where I write about my trials and successes as a Female Entrepreneur.
When I’m not working, I can be found playing ice hockey, riding a dirt bike, or traveling. I’m also a super fan of the services I offer — chemical peels, laser treatments, skin care, and more!

I have been in the esthetics industry for over 30 years (with ‘breaks’ for raising my two daughters). Over that time I have developed a deep sense of satisfaction from helping clients reach their skin and body care goals. I love seeing how glowing on the outside can transform a person’s confidence and self esteem on the inside: it’s incredibly rewarding for me and my clients.
For the last 5 years, I’ve been proudly working at Refresh Evolution; mostly as a technician and recently jumped at the chance to be a trainer with Refresh You. It gives me the opportunity to both help other technicians develop their skills and the value they can offer clients, and to continue to grow this great franchise (which continues to impact our clients in so many positive ways).
My biggest go to, to prevent premature ageing will always be a daily physical SPF every single day, rain or shine, indoors and out. Come and visit us to see how we will help you achieve your skin and body care goals.

Dr. Kevin Sommi was born in England and studied at the University of London. Dr. Sommi emigrated to Canada where he began working in Family Practice and Public Health Service. Dr. Sommi has a special interest in dermatology and neuro toxin treatments. He is very happy to be a part of the Refresh Spa Team in Pitt Meadows.
Dr. Sommi is married with four children and three grandchildren and resides in Osprey Village.

DR. MALONEY has been practicing aesthetic medicine for over 18 years. She quickly became aware that these treatments combine medicine with artistry and were a natural extension of her skills and training as an Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon. As aesthetic medicine is a rapidly expanding and evolving field, she enjoys the excitement of always being able to learn something new and to bring this knowledge for the benefit of her patients. She is committed to working with her patients to help everyone be the best they can be at any age and to achieve natural aesthetic results.
Services that Dr. Maloney provides include neuromodulators such as neuro toxins for aesthetic, hyperhidrosis and TMJ/headache relief, dermal fillers, platelet rich plasma for hair restoration and skin improvement, fat reduction with deoxycholate.

Dr. Maloney MD, FRCS(C), DABO, has practiced as a Board-Certified Ear- Nose and Throat Surgeon in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
Dr. Maloney has an interest and a passion for helping patients look and feel their best. She believes the best results are natural, allowing patients to be the best version of themselves. As a specialist in Otolaryngology (Disorders of the Ear Nose and Throat), she is experienced with patients with facial aging concerns as well as chronic headaches and TMJ pain.
Through this, she developed an interest and expertise in treating patients with neuro toxins for pain and other neuromodulators and dermal fillers for cosmetic concerns. She has extensive experience in treating hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and knows how life changing this treatment can be.
As a lifetime learner, one of her favourite things to do is attend aesthetic medicine conferences to keep learning in this ever evolving field.
She is a member of the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine, the B.C. Otolaryngology Society, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology at the University of British Columbia.
